About TQMT & Arielle
ON THE NAME
The name “The Queen Midas Touch” (TQMT) is inspired by a happier twist on the legend of King Midas: the ruler who turned to gold anything with which he came in contact. As a stylist & designer, Arielle adds her own touch to whatever she recommends or creates for clients & customers. In the process, that touch elevates entire outfits, individual garments, and more. TQMT is all about transformation and elevation. Whether it translates as a pop of color, an all-over pattern, a new-and-flattering shape, or even an actual shimmer of precious metal, Arielle helps find a “golden lining” in your wardrobe and life.
ON THE QUEEN
My name is Arielle, and I’m the creative thread running through The Queen Midas Touch (TQMT). Formally, I hold degrees in Visual Presentation & Exhibition Design and Visual Art Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. I've done color consultation work for interior dectorating, as well as fashion display work for both Macy's & Barney's flagship department stores in New York City (not to mention City Opera Thrift Store), and have been styling mannequins & people alike for years.

I am originally from the greater New York City area—but in 2018, I landed in “The Queen City” a.k.a. Cincinnati, Ohio. That's where I first founded TQMT—through a flurry of pop-up markets loaded with vintage and re-invented clothing & accessories. Now, I'm based in Jerusalem, Israel. You know—the easy route.

I’ve always wanted to express myself through clothing. It was only natural that I wound up at FIT and can now use my touch to help others add a bit of inspiration, injecting personality into their wardrobe mixes (where wanted/warranted). I’m happiest with an interior design magazine in hand & a pile of fabrics, fashion & furniture to reinvent. I’m second-happiest teaching someone how to layer stripes on stripes, or any kind of pattern mixing, for a knock-out, statement outfit. And of course, I'm happy to find you a capsule wardrobe for a trip, for work, or for everyday use, as well.
Through The Queen Midas Touch, I’m offering my expertise in personal styling & garment reinvention. I hope you’ll try something fresh & funky on for size. It doesn’t have to be for every day.
